"My knowledge of JARCO-built propane bobtails dates back to the mid 1970’s. Early on I associated propane delivery with a JARCO product. In 1999, I assumed responsibilities with a large multi-state propane marketer, and one of my responsibilities was fleet management. Because of the number of new bobtails the company required on an annual basis, I utilized eight to ten bobtail builders in order to meet our demands and JARCO was one of those builders.

In 2005, I moved to Texas and began working for a smaller independent propane company with a bobtail fleet that needed updating, but on a much smaller scale than what I had been accustomed to. I immediately decided that JARCO would be the builder of choice for Sharp Propane bobtails even though they were located several hundred miles from our operations. My decision was based primarily on three considerations:

The first consideration was the quality product that JARCO had produced for me in the past. I knew that the JARCO bobtails would be dependable from the very first deliveries.

The second consideration was past conversations and meetings with JARCO management, office, and operational personnel. They understood the needs of propane companies, both large and small, and worked together to produce a quality product.

The third, and most important, consideration was their service after the sale. They stood behind their product - even from a distance. On the few occasions that we have had equipment problems, their team has been just a phone call away to assist us in walking through troubleshooting processes.

"JARCO is always ready and willing to help when issues arise. Awhile back I had some problems with the Dixie gate safety system. I called JARCO and they went to bat for me. I don't know how much time they spent on it, but I see the results on the last few new trucks, and it's impressive. The redesign works great.

The last truck we received from JARCO had some EPA/CARB paperwork issues. This was not even part of anything they build, but their attitude is to help with any problem that keeps the equipment out of service. We had it back on the road with a minimum amount of downtime, thanks to their efforts.
