Michael Evans is
president of Polar Service Centers, one of three
companies under the Polar Corporation umbrella.
Evans joined the company in May 2011, after
serving as vice president, aftermarket, for
Oshkosh Commercial Group in Dodge Center, Minn. While there,
he was
responsible for the strategic and operational support of
the Oshkosh Commercial
Group, across all their market channels. Prior to Oshkosh,
he served as vice
president, product support, for Komatsu America. His career
has focused on the
transportation industry, primarily in parts and service.
Mike is a graduate of West Point
Academy.
Nancy Coop
Consultant, Sales & Marketing
In 2005, Nancy became President of JARCO when ownership was transferred from her father, founder Casey Jarvis.
She is an active member on committees of the National Propane Gas Association and the Western Propane Gas Association. In 2009, Nancy was elected to the NPGA Board of Directors for a 3-year term. In 2011, she became a member of the Executive Committee of the NPGA’s board.
With a lifetime of exposure to the propane industry, her background in publishing, public relations and graphic design brought business and marketing strengths to an established bobtail builder. Upon the sale of the company to Polar Service Centers in November 2010, Nancy took on the role of consultant with a focus on sales, marketing and industry relations. A native Californian, Nancy resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Casey Jarvis
Founder
Casey Jarvis, founder of JARCO, began his business career in the propane industry in 1947 as a salesman for a Los Angeles tank company. In 1959, he set out to start his own company providing custom delivery trucks to the propane industry. Launching the company in Southern California, he went on to introduce the single barrel propane transport throughout the United States.
During his career, Casey was a member of the NPGA Technical and Standards Committee for 12 years, and represented the NPGA in meetings with the Department of Transportation in Washington D.C. He also served on the NPGA Board of Directors for six years and served as Chairman of the Western PGA in the 70's. He retired at age 80 in 2005.
For his long and dedicated service to the industry, Casey was presented the Distinguished Service Award by the Western Propane Gas Association in 2007. He passed away in 2011, leaving a strong legacy in the industry.
